Information on a slide
There are three main areas to be completed on each slide:
- Generally
- Source data
- Transitions
1. General
[Slide name] [1]: Enter a name that indicates what the slide shows.
[Slide theme] [2]: At the moment it is only possible to select a default theme.
[Background image] [3]: Here you can add a image to be displayed as the background on the slide, or select the default image. If you have added a image allready, it will be available in the dropdown menu.
[Slide type] [4]: Select the type of slide to be displayed, depending on the type of competition in question, Stroke Play, Match Play or Ryder Cup format. It is also possible to select a [Information Slide], where you can write a free text or [Blank slide] which can be used for a picture or just to indication that the slideshow is transitioning to a new class or the like.
[Subtitle] [5]: Free text that will appear on each slide.
2. Source data
[Competition] [6]: Here you choose the competition which is the basis for the slide in question.
[Class] [7]: This determines which class in the competition, to be displayed on the slide.
[Range] [8]: Select the number of players in the class to be displayed on the slide. For example, if there is 100 players in the class, but you only want to show the top 10, then change the range to 0 to 10 players. You change the range by dragging the start and end box.
3. Transitions
[Transition type] [9]: Select how the pages shall switch visually.
[Transition interval] [10]: Choose how long each slide shall be displayed in seconds before switching to the next slide, or is updated in the event that there is only one slide.
Finish by clicking [Save].
Now you have created a single slide in your slideshow. If you need to create more slides to be displayed one after the other, for example, an extra class, click on [ADD NEW] [1]. If you do not need to create more slides, click [SAVE] [2].
Once you have saved your slideshow, you are re-directed to the slideshow overview, where you can see your slideshow. The slideshow has a unik URL-address. You need to use this URL-address to access the slideshow on the unit where you wish the slideshow to be displayed.
Your slideshow now looks like this, until you start to enter scores in the competition.
As soon as you start to enter scores in the competition, the slideshow will be updated automatically.
