How does the feature work?
When the feature is enabled, all players will be assigned a unique 7-digit player scoring code when the start list is created. Please note that the tournament need to have a start list before it's possible to uge Player Livescoring with marker signature.
Using the code, the player can enter an entry page, where the player chooses who they are the marker for. When all players in the flight have a marker, you can start typing scores.
The player can enter scores for himself and the players for whom the player is a marker. If there is a discrepancy between what the player and the marker enter, a message will appear stating that there is a conflict that needs to be resolved between the player and the marker.
When all scores have been entered and there is an agreement, and therefore no conflicts, the players can now sign the scorecards electronically and thus complete the round, and the tournament administrator will subsequently be able to see the status and data on the signature.
PLEASE NOTE... For the feature to work correctly, it is assumed that all players enter scores electronically from their device, in the same way, players do with a physical scorecard.

The e-mail and/or SMS the players receive will contain the following information:
Internet connection requirements:
In order to enter the player scoring page, it is necessary for the player to be connected to the Internet on their smartphone. Once the scoring page is opened, nothing happens if the internet connection is lost. Entered scores will then be stored and sent as soon as the internet connection is re-established on the device. However, scores can only be sent when there is an internet connection.
How to enter a score:
Once you have entered the player scoring page by following the above procedure, the first image will look like this:
Here you must check that all information is correct and then click on MARKERS, where you can choose who you are a marker for, as well as see an overview of other player's markers. When all players have a marker, the ENTER SCORES button becomes active.
When you click on ENTER SCORES you get to the scoring page and can start entering scores. The entry opens automatically on your starting hole according to the start list. So if it's a shotgun start and you start on hole 3, hole 3 is already selected as the starting hole, and holes 1 and 2, therefore, come last.

- Information about the hole - Hole number, Par (+ extra strokes the player has on the hole), and Index

- In stableford it is possible to pick up. There is a button to indicate this (not shown in stroke play format)

- Delete the score of the selected player
REMEMBER... It is always the gross score on the individual hole (number of strokes used) that must be entered - NOT your stableford points. These are calculated automatically!
PLEASE NOTE... When you start entering scores, you can rotate the phone horizontally to see more information.
Difference in entered score between player and marker:
If a player and the player's marker enter a different score on a hole, a conflicting message will appear on both the player's and the marker's devices. When you click on the conflicting score, you can see respectively player's and marker's entered scores. The player must now either choose to change the score to the score that the marker has entered, if this is correct or ask the marker to change the score if it is the player's score that is correct. As soon as the scores match again, the conflict is removed.
PLEASE NOTE... To be able to sign the scorecard after the round requires that there are no unresolved conflicts between the player's and the marker's scores.
PLEASE NOTE THIS TOO... If you have an individual class and a team class in the same tournament and you have to use a dummy player to fill an empty spot on a team, then you need to enter this dummy player's score via the scoring code as well. This is because all players in a tournament has to enter their own score to make sure there is no conflicts. If the dummy player's score is not entered via the scoring code then the other players in the group can't sign their scorecards. We recommend this is done by an admin before the tournament starts or as least before the round is finished for the players.
Change of marker during the round:
It happens that a player retires from the round for various reasons. This is done in the menu under MARKERS, where the player can retire.
If this happens, the player for whom the retired player was a marker must have a new marker. This is done by the new marker clicking into the menu and going to MARKERS, and choosing to be a marker for the player who is now missing a marker.
PLEASE NOTE... A player can be a marker for several players.
Completion of the round/scoring:
Scores entered are sent to the leaderboard as soon as they are entered, provided there is an internet connection. Otherwise, they are sent when an internet connection is achieved. This also means that there is no SEND button in the system, as scores are sent automatically as they are entered.
When all scores have been entered and there is an agreement, and therefore no conflicts, the players can now sign the scorecards electronically and thus complete the round, and the competition administrator will subsequently be able to see the status and data on the signature.
