Pay and Play module (setup etc).

Setting up a Pay and Play resource starts with either creating a completely new resource or selecting an existing one. This guide assumes that you choose an existing resource.

The resource type should be "Pay and Play course with time booking."

Once this is selected, the Pay and Play settings will open, which need to be filled out.

Standard handicap: We do not recommend setting a handicap, as a Pay and Play player typically does not know what a handicap is and should therefore play without one. However, it is entirely up to the club. Typically, it would be 36 or 54.

Reply-to email address: Specifies the email address that will be replied to if a Pay and Play player chooses to respond to the autogenerated email they receive after booking.

Text for autogenerated message: This text will be added to the bottom of the autogenerated email that the player receives after booking.

Red arrows - These fields MUST be filled with data, it is a requirement.
Green arrow - This field can be filled, but it is not a requirement.

Here you get the link you need to insert on your website so that the player can book and possibly pay for the time if online payment is enabled.

If you want players to pay when booking (recommended), online payment must be activated. This way, you avoid the system being misused as a booking must be paid for immediately.

NOTE... If online payment is not activated, times can be booked with fake names and email addresses, risking that the times go to waste. If you experience this, a solution would be to activate online payment. This will also make it easier and less administrative when players show up for the booked time.
