In a tournament with both running start or shotgun start it is now possible to enable that players can choose their own teetime.
This can be handy when players are driving together to and from the golf course fx.
The first thing you need to do is tick off that Players can choose their own teetime under SETUP and then Edit BASIC:
When all the other settings under SETUP has been made then you need to go to START LIST.
Here you need to create the setup and choose whether you want a running start or a shotgun start.
For a running start you will need to choose the starting time (blue arrow) and End time (red arrow). The end time will be the latest available teetime to choose from. The rest of the settings are already known functions.
In a tournament with shotgun start it will look like this. It looks like the normal setup for a shotgun start, but remember it is important to choose the correct group size.
After you have finished the setup of the start list you need to create the start list. Say Yes to "The entry window is still open. Are you sure you want to create the start list?".
The players will now see this screen when they enter the tournament. Here the players will need to choose an empty slot to enter the tournament.
In a shotgun start it looks similar but here you can see which hole you are choosing and the players can thereby choose their preferred starting hole.
In the admin view you will be able to see which teetimes the players have chosen. You will still have the possibility to edit the start list and move the players around. If you choose to do so before the entry is closed then the entry will be temporarily closed for 15 minutes or until you have saved the changes.
Please remember to block the teetimes in the teetime booking system as well so you don't get any double bookings.
