We are currently experiencing server issues on our system, that has caused longer answer times.
Over the weekend, our technicians have been working on resolving these issues, what has been caused by the GolfBox mobile app.
We are experiencing extraordinary traffic here in the season start, but due to Covid-19, is the traffic we have on our app, more than 300% than previous years. This is a lot of pressure on the system, and especially our app, as an extraordinary large number of golf players is booking tee times on the golf courses at the same time, from our app. At the same time, they are being told to use the app for confirming tee-times and scorecards and the volume exceeds anything we have seen before.
We are very sorry about this extraordinary situation, which affects both clubs and players, who wants to play golf these days. We have already taken measures during the weekend and will continue to take new measures to alleviate the pressure on the servers. We have already made another update earlier today and will make more throughout the day.
We will be fully focused on getting the system back to normal as soon as at all possible.
