New updates to GolfBox Tournament module

On this page, we will list all the new features being implemented.

21-09-2023

New things

Setup

• New decision methods have been added in the Round Robin competition type (Total matches won divided by total matches lost, Total singles matches won divided by total singles matches lost, Total foursome matches won divided by total foursome matches lost).
• An option has been added to indicate that a status text for a competition must also be displayed on the Start list tab in Livescoring.
• In match play competitions, the option to specify whether brackets should be displayed in Livescoring has been added.
• An option has been added to name the rounds in match play in Livescoring, if you want to show them with a different name in Livescoring than the round name the system itself indicates (e.g., quarter final, semifinal, final, etc.).
• The option to add an InfoBar on the Leaderboard and Order of Merit pages in Livescoring has been added. You can use this to display an optional text after a given position on the leaderboard.
• An option has been added to choose whether players, when ordering practice rounds, can identify themselves with a membership number, or only with a forwarded booking code.
• It is now possible to add a link in the user-defined text for successful and ineligible entry.

Entries

• In competitions with practice rounds, where it has been decided that the booking code must be included in the confirmation email upon entry, there is now the added option of generating missing booking codes, as well as sending/resending an email with the booking code to selected players.
• You are now asked to confirm your contact information when entering for competitions, to reduce entries with incorrect contact information.

Start List

• The option to print scorecards for amateurs on A5 paper (1 scorecard per page) has been added.
• The option to include secondary classes in the Labels report has been added.
• An option has been added to include columns for Gender and Secondary classes in the start list report.
• It is now possible to select several course starts at once in the Pace of Play and Score sheet reports. In Round Robin and Knockout competitions, the matches will be mixed, sorted by match number, and in the other competition types, each course start will be shown on its own page.
• Add gap functionality has been added in Team Matchplay.

Results

• The option to specify a color for Pace of Play notes has been added, as well as to choose from some predefined texts for the note (e.g., "On the clock" etc.).
• The option to delete a Pace of Play registration has been added.
• A Score Differential column has been added to the report with handicap adjustments, based on the values known in the GolfBox Tournament software.
• An option has been added to include existing Pace of Play registrations and notes when generating the Pace of Play report.
• Player scoring with marker signature now also supports various team formats and is also supported in competitions without start lists.

Interclub module

• An option has been added to indicate that a tied team match is decided by Sudden Death play off, and if so how many holes were played, as well as which players were included in the play off. In Round Robin divisions, you can also specify separate point values for games decided by play off.
• The ability to copy teams (including the ability to include team members) from one pool to another has been added.
• Edit and Delete functions have been added to the matches in the full match overview that goes across Interclub competitions (same functions as you know from the match overview for the single Interclub competition).

Settings

• An option has been added to indicate how many competitions must be created in the current year before current competitions on the calendar page in Livescoring are displayed (the default is set to 25).
• An option has been added for a club to generate a report on scheduled Interclub Matches, with their club selected as the host club. This can be found under Reports on the competition list.
• Option to file a standard fee has been added. If a standard fee is marked as archived, it can no longer be selected in competition setup, except for those competitions that may have already used the standard fee.
• The reports that previously showed the date of generation in the footer have been expanded to also include the time of generation.

Fixed things

Livescoring

• The complete scorecard for teams in Livescoring has been expanded to show player names as the first letter of the first name + the full last name, instead of just the first letter of both the first name and the last name.
• The nationality "Europe" is now displayed with the European flag in Livescoring, instead of the EGA logo.

Slideshow

• The nationality "Europe" is now displayed with the European flag in the Slideshow, instead of the EGA logo.
• Fixed a bug where a competition changed to Hidden would not always disappear from the search results in the competition search.

Setup

• An option has been added to specify that a question is only mandatory for players who enter manually (without membership number).
• An option has been added to indicate that the function of players' registration must be approved (pending registrations), only applies to players who enter manually (without a membership number).

Entries

• A new locking mechanism has been introduced in Online Entry as improved security against double booking.
• Locks have been added to practice round booking, as improved security against double booking.
• A feature has been added for team registration in competitions where players can choose their own start time when entering.
• An option has been added to select a request for a golf cart in handling teams.
• The flow in Update entries can now tell if one or more players were not found in the search, and if so which ones.

Start List

• Support for Shotgun start lists has been added in competitions where players can choose their own start time when entering.
• An option has been added to select a request for a golf cart in the edit of the start list.

Results

• Added marker authentication and signature functionality in Player Live Scoring, and made improvements to synchronization.

Players module

• Player site has been made responsive (the full experience, however, requires the iframe site to be embedded in other pages, also supporting responsive design).

Fixed things

Interclub module

• Some performance improvements have been made in the excel import function and in the part of the system that is affected when you save the Scores page in Interclub (this is primarily a difference when it comes to players from Australia, as the change concerns how these are retrieved from the membership system).

Setup

• The option to display year of birth has been added to Livescoring lists.
• “Additional Handicap Allowance” in course setup has been changed to allow decimals.

Entries

• A column with order number has been added to the overall report of online transactions.
• A warning has been added to the entry page in online entry, which is displayed if one or more classes have already reached its maximum number of entries.

Start List

• The option to include a Max Score column has been added when generating scorecards, which show the player's max score for each hole (net double bogey or Maximum Score, depending on format setup). For PDF scorecards, this column, when selected, replaces the PHCP column.
• Changes have been made so that the calculation of the cut as a percentage is based on the total number of participants, rather than only the players who have status as playing.

Results

• An option has been added to resend player scoring codes in tournaments with player scoring enabled, as well as to see when a scoring code was last sent to a player.
• Player scoring functionality has been added for players to select tees before scoring begins. This is only possible in tournaments where the setup allows players to choose the tee upon entry.

Orders of Merit

• The option to set up a required gender in an Order of Merit has been added so that results can only be transferred for players of the given gender.

Fixed things

Entries

• An error has been fixed where the leaderboard did not work if the Replace Player feature had been used in a team tournament after scores were entered on the replaced player (as hole scores are not taken over by the new player).

Start List

• An error has been fixed where PDF Scorecards could not be generated if a tee was missing the length of one or more holes.

Results

• An error has been fixed in Team Stroke play tournaments, where the leaderboard could show a team that had not started yet, if the round setup was x best per round, and the scores entered so far were over par, while one or more of the team's matches had not started yet.

An error has been fixed which meant that in some cases a duplicate of a hole score could occur for a player, which gave some errors, e.g., that the leaderboard for the tournament could not be displayed.

• The default value for the upper handicap limit for new classes has been changed to 54.

Entries

• Handicap up to 54 is now formatted with decimal at integer (changed from 36).

Start List

• Some changes have been made that shorten the time it takes in some circumstances to open the start list page in team stroke play competitions.

Fixed things

Start List

• An error has been fixed which meant that in some cases a slot was unlocked before time in competitions where players can choose the start time upon entry.
• Some improvements have been made regarding the handling of situations where a lock has expired when an entry is completed.

Orders of Merit

• An error has been fixed which sometimes caused the contents of the field for public description in an Order of Merit to be cut off, even though the number of characters limit had not been reached.

Fixed things

Entries

• Some bugs have been fixed that in some cases occurred when removing searched players in connection with an online entry.
• An error has been corrected in the sorting on the deleted time column in the list of deleted players in a competition.

Players module

• An error has been corrected in the Player module where it was not possible to edit the date of birth of players where the member system does not state a date of birth when importing.

New things

Setup

• Customers in WHS countries can now set an Additional Handicap Allowance for men and women, respectively.
• The system now supports PHCP calculation with a formula without Course Rating and Par. This is used in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
• For customers in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, the system will now suggest 95% Stroke Allowance on rounds as it should live up to their recommendations.

Settings

• A new integration has been added to Scotland. However, due to a limitation in the Scottish system, this can only be used by customers from Scotland.

Fixed things

Setup

• The possibility of using Handicap Status as a parameter in the setup of classes has been removed for Swedish customers, as this is no longer used.
• Calculation of PHCP in WHS countries will now no longer round to the nearest whole number before Stroke Allowance is taken into account, only afterwards. In order not to affect results in rounds already played, this change only applies to rounds played from 01/01/2021 and onwards.
• A new handling of the approval required from the club when adding courses from England, Ireland and Wales has been introduced. Customers in these countries can now, when setting up a competition, select a club to have a request sent immediately, or can use a new section on the Setup page to send a request to the club.
• Some changes have been made to the handling of courses retrieved from England, Ireland and Wales. Among other things, tees are now grouped by colour whenever possible, and the system assumes from the start these courses have different par and index values ​​across tees.

Entries

• Players in WHS countries are now generally considered "Handicap Status: Active" if the player's handicap is 54 or lower. This should counteract a challenge where players did not meet the requirement for Handicap Status in countries where it was no longer possible to change the player's Handicap Status, e.g., in Sweden, and therefore could not register for competitions with these requirements. Some countries continue to have their own handling of Handicap Status.
• An error has been fixed in the email Swedish players receive when deleting, where it would sometimes show the name of who registered the player instead of the name of who deleted the player.

Entries

• The page for selecting start time when entering in the Online Entry site will now group the displayed matches by date, with the date displayed above the first match in each group.

Results

• HCP regulation now supports 10-17 hole rounds for WHS players.
• A round marked as NR for a WHS player can now be HCP regulated if at least 9 holes have been played.
• Quick Search now shows options for parameters that must apply to the search. The new search parameter with member number is turned off by default. This should leave the general search experience as before the membership number was added as the search parameter.

Fixed things

Entries

• An error has been fixed where Excel import for entries could not find players if there were excess spaces in the value of the column for member number.

Results

• A missing translation has been added to the abbreviated version of the decision-making method "Draw", which was previously shown as blank.
• An error has been fixed where the Pace of Play page in Mobile Scoring could not be opened if the round contained a match without players.

Interclub module

• An error has been fixed in creating matches for teams added after the rest have been generated, where in some cases Fourball and Foursome matches were not generated.
• An error has been fixed where deleting teams in some cases did not work properly.

Setup

• In the tournament setup overview, courses are now displayed in two columns.
• You can now change the Hidden tournament setting directly from the tournament list.
• By adding a manual entry, the administrator can now select the tee immediately.
• The email the player receives when entering online now includes the choices the player has made, such as answers to questions, tees, etc.
• The email the contacts for a tournament receive upon new entry now includes the player number.
• The feature to update all courses in a tournament will now alert you to any manual courses in the tournament that cannot be updated.
• When editing Practice Rounds, you can now delete times.

Entries

• The feature to search for existing players based on Golf ID has been added.
• The entry list can now display a column with age. This column is not displayed by default but can be added.
• The list of deleted players can now show the time of deletion.
• The list of questions and answers can now show players' email address and mobile number.
• The entry list can now display the player livescoring code in tournaments run without a start list.
• In the window to send messages to the players in a tournament, the list of recipients can now display the players' club name.
• In the player photo upload window, the player number will now be displayed next to their name, to make it easier to recognize players with similar names from each other.
• The page for choosing the start time at entry will now suggest the customer's own union in the dropdown for searching for teammates.

Start List

• By generating the Labels report, you can now select multiple players at once.
• When generating the Labels report, you can now select the team name.
• The Labels report will now only show round numbers if there is more than one round in the tournament, to save a bit of space when that information is not needed.
• In rounds set up with the Maximum Score format, the Amateur Scorecard report can now show the selected type and any value.
• By editing the starting list, you can now choose to view the players' total gross score in the tournament.
• The Match Play Start List report can now display PHCP on players or teams.
• Some visual changes have been made to the seeding functionality in Team Match Play tournaments, so it now looks like the same functionality in Match Play tournaments again.

Results

• The feature to search for existing players based on Golf ID has been added.
• In the window to transfer results to an Order of Merit, a link to the given Order of Merit will now be displayed.

Livescoring

• The calendar page in Livescoring can now show venue. This can be activated in Livescoring settings for each customer.
• The calendar page in Livescoring will now sort tournaments on the same date by first start time, rather than alphabetically. To clarify this, the first start time for each tournament is now also displayed in the list.
• The calendar page in Livescoring will now show a shortened day of the week by the date of each tournament. However, this does not apply if the tournament extends over several days.
• The start list page in Livescoring can now display the round name in Ryder Cup tournaments, in the same way as the score page does.

 Orders of Merit

• An editor has been added to the Description field under Publishing for an Order of Merit.

Slideshow

• When editing a slideshow, you can now disable individual slides. This allows you to remove a slide from the slideshow without having to delete it.

Players module

• The feature to search for existing players based on Golf ID has been added.

Fixed things

Start List

• An error has been resolved where the Amateur Scorecard report in a few cases did not show the player's tee if they played from the fifth tee in the tournament or up, as the report only showed the first four tees. The player's tee will now always be among the four tees shown.

Results

• An error has been fixed where the score entry page in Team Match Play tournaments could not be opened if one or more players had a double quote in their name.

Settings

• In the Categories module, an error has been fixed where the same player could be added several times to the same category.

New things

Entries

• A new feature has been added to manage teams in competitions. In this function, it is possible to edit several teams at the same time, which, among other things, should make it easier to move players between teams.

Start List

• You can now edit a group entry in competitions where players can choose the start time upon entry.
• When editing the start list in competitions, where players can select the start time upon entry, you can now delete start times.
• In connection with registration for the competition, where players can choose the start time upon entry, you can now add other players.

Results

• The mobile scoring page now displays a warning if you are about to leave the page without saving your changes.
• The mobile scoring page will now expect the admin to enter hole scores in sequence, which for example should prevent one from entering scores on hole 18 when only holes 1, 2 and 3 have been played.

Livescoring

• The way navigation works in Livescoring has changed. This should mean that navigation will now work on pages with a Base tag in the HTML document. The other implementations should of course be unaffected.
• The status box in Livescoring is now updated at the same time as the leaderboard data (most often from the update timer).
• The Livescoring site will now fall back on the English language instead of giving an error if you try to use an unsupported language code.

Slideshow

• You can now put a "ticker" text in your Slideshows, which will run at the bottom of each slide from right to left.

Fixed things

Start List

• An error has been fixed where you could not put players on added start times in competitions where players can choose start time upon entry. This has now been fixed.
• We have made some small changes to which round has been unfolded from the start when you open the Start list page so that it is the "active" round that is being unfolded.

Results

• In the mobile scoring, an error occurred if a team name had special characters. This has now been fixed.
• An error has been resolved where the score entry window could not be opened for teams with double-quote in the name of the Ryder Cup and Team match play competitions.
• A recent change in Chrome (version 85) made it impossible to log in to Player scoring. This has now been fixed.

Livescoring

• In Livescoring, hole scores for Foursome scorecards in "Team match play" competitions were mistakenly displayed next to the first player on the team, instead of between the two players (as is usually shown elsewhere). This has now been fixed.

New things

Entries

• When registering online for competitions with automatic reserve list, it is now made clearer if you end up on the reserve list.

Results

• In competitions where there is a mixture of EGA and WHS in relation to the licence country as well as players/courses, the administrator will now have to decide whether the handicap adjustments should be based on EGA or WHS rules. In this way, for example, a CBA value can be calculated for the field even if the license belongs to a WHS country.
• The score reset button has now been re-positioned. In addition, some of the text the administrator sees to confirm the action is marked in red, and the administrator must check a checkbox to complete the action. All this should help to not reset scores by mistake.

Entries

• When you delete your entry through the Online Entry site, you are now asked if you only want to delete your own entry, or the entire team and all players on the team. Of course, this only applies if you are on a team. In the past, it just deleted the entire team without asking.
• When answering questions in Online Entry, there are now several dots for each question, making it easier to follow the question to the answering options.

Start List

• Step 3 of the start list setup window has been given a new look. There are still the same options, but the page has had a new look.
• It is now possible to select/deselect all holes in connection with setting up a shot gun start.
• In connection with editing the start list, the players' names will now be displayed in the order "Last name, first name" if the sorting option is selected.
• When editing the start list, you now have the same options for sorting as for displaying extra data.
• When editing the start list, you can now filter the list of available players. You have the same options here as for displaying extra data.
• When editing the start list, the players' reserve number is now displayed in the list of available players.
• Player entry time and age have been added as an option for displaying extra data in start list editing.
• In the window for printing scorecards in a competition, the system will now try to select the last used form (Word or printer).
• When setting up the start list in Team Match Play, you can now choose tees for both genders. This solves a problem that occasionally occurred in competitions with players of both genders if the selected tee only had ratings for one gender.
• On the start list page, the current start list is now expanded when the page is opened.
• The seeding feature in Match Play has been changed. The "Seeded" and "Unseeded" lists have swapped side. It is now more visible if an existing seeding exists, and the seeding window is no longer seen as step 2 in a guide but is shown a little more independently.

Slideshow

• A new slide type called "Match play - Match List - Large" and "Team Match Play - Team Matches - Large" has been added. These are based on the existing slides of the same name, but use a larger font than usual, showing 4 rows per slide.
• A new slide type called "Start list - Teams" has been added. This is based on the type called "Start list", but only shows the team name, not the players.

Players module

• As an administrator, looking at a player's list of competitions in the player module, the competitions are now sorted by date with the most recent at the top.

Settings

• In connection with setting up club groups, a validity has now been added that at least one union status must be selected.

Fixed things

Livescoring

• In Livescoring, the name of custom tees was sometimes shown in capital letters, while the name of standard tees did not. This resulted in discrepancies in competitions where there were both standard tees and custom tees. This has now been fixed.

Settings

• It is now possible to determine the interval showing current tournaments in the tournament calendar. By default, this setting is set to 7 days before today and 14 days after today, but it can now be changed. It has also become possible to turn off current tournaments completely. The feature is found under Settings - Live Scoring. NOTE that there may be a delay of up to a few minutes before any change occurs in Livescoring.

• If a given round was not handicap qualifying, a CSS value was still displayed on the live scoring leaderboard. This has now been fixed.

 Orders of Merit

• If a newly created Order of Merit had not yet received any results, the "Recent competition" field in live scoring was displayed incorrectly. This has now been fixed.

Slideshow

• If you created a slide show with a start list and the start list was subsequently deleted, then the slide show broke. This has now been fixed.

• If you had corrected answer options on list questions with a price, you could risk that the player, upon editing, was required to pay that price again. This has now been fixed.

Start List

• In team competitions played as foursome, greensome and scramble, the start list report did not show a team score if you chose to show previous round scores. This has now been fixed.

Results

• After completing the handicap adjustment, you could not open and view the handicap adjustment list if the course name contained an apostrophe. This has now been fixed.

• When printing a standard scorecard to the printer, each scorecard can now contain the PHCP for all players in the same ball.

Fixed things

Slideshow

• In team tournaments with multiple team classes or with a combination of team and player classes, a start list slideshow could sometimes show an incorrect class name next to the players on the starting list. This has now been fixed.

Fixed things

Setup

• In Team Strokeplay it was possible to make a round for a player class, where foursome, greensome or scramble were to be played. It does not make sense and the opportunity has therefore been removed.
• When copying a competition with the Maximum Score format, the maximum score settings were not copied. This has now been fixed.

Start List

• In Team Strokeplay, some scorecards could be skipped in some cases when printing scorecards. This has now been fixed.

Results

• If a player made a hole-in-one while the player had extra strokes on the hole, the net score could end as 0 strokes, and it gave an error in the result score for the Maximum Score format. This has now been fixed.

Orders of Merit

• When creating an Order of Merit, in some cases you got some wrong choices for decisions. This has now been fixed.

• A new question type called File Upload has been added that can be used to ask players to upload handicap certificates or other documents when making an online entry.

Start List

• Match play result sheet has been added as a new report.
• In team match play competitions, you can now change match numbers manually.

Results

• It is now possible to enter results in team match play competitions as manual text results if you need to specify a result.

Fixed things

Start List

• If a course name contained an apostrophe, it caused an error in editing start lists in stroke play competitions. This has now been fixed.

Results

• In a competition where you play with the format Maximum Score and at the same time you play with handicap. A player makes a Hole In One on a hole where the person has a stroke at the same time. It gives net 0 strokes, which caused the calculation of the total score to fail. This has now been fixed.

Orders of Merit

• By Excel Import of Order of Merit results, one could go back and forth in the guide at times when one should not be able to. This has now been fixed.

Setup

• In setup of livescoring you can now choose to display indexes on the holes the places a scorecard is displayed on livescoring.
• You can now choose to create a Booking Reference Code if you have the module "Practice Round". With the code, the player can book a practice round.

Start List

• When editing the start list in team stroke play competitions, you can now select TEAM HCP as "Extra info".

Fixed things

Entries

• In the REPLACE PLAYER function, a random class was shown next to each player in the competitions where you use multi class. It has now been fixed so that it is always the primary class that is displayed.

Interclub module

• The report "Current position” in interclub did not show points with decimals. This has now been fixed.

• A new format called Maximum Score has been added. This is part of the new golf rules and allows you to decide a maximum number of strokes you can use per hole.

Start List

• On a start list, it is now possible in round 2 and forward to choose that players must be sorted according to their current gross score.

Slideshow

• In the slideshow, it is now possible to choose that only participants must appear on the slide with entries.

Fixed things

Setup

• When entering entry fees, green fees and pricing on questions, it was possible to specify negative values, which could cause problems with online registration and online payment. This has now been fixed.
• If you tried to update courses, in a tournament where the course was created manually, the system would spin. This has now been fixed.

Start List

• When the start list had been made in a Ryder Cup competition, it gave an error if one subsequently deleted one of the teams. This has now been fixed.

Results

• When entering results in match play, the entry form was sometimes shown for rounds where score entry was not yet opened. This has now been fixed.

Livescoring

• On info-page in Livescoring, info on the new format "Maximum Score" was not shown correctly. This has now been fixed.
• On an order of merit in Livescoring, line breaks were not shown correctly in the order of merit order. This has now been fixed.

Settings

• The REPORTS button on the tournament list was not visible to all customers. This has now been fixed.

• When uploading player photos, players can now be filtered based on their player status.

Start List

• A new start list template has been added, where the field is first sorted by handicap and divided into 3 equal groups. Within each group, players are then randomly sorted.

Fixed things

Setup

• A missing hole name on a course meant that when editing the start list you could not add a new start time or insert gaps. This has now been fixed.
• If a course was marked "inactive" in GolfBox it gave an error when updating the course in a tournament. This has now been fixed.
• When updating courses without hole names or times, one could risk deleting the hole names or times that you had entered yourself. This has now been fixed.

Entries

• On the entry page, one could not search for competitors if the tournament did not have a team class. This has now been fixed.

Start List

• When editing start lists, the display of the lists was destroyed if the course name was very long. This has now been fixed.

• When setting up online payment in an individual competition, you can choose to automatically refund players, who delete their entry, on their online payment.

• When deleting players in an individual competition, you can now refund an online payment automatically.

Fixed things

Start List

• When editing start lists on iPad or on small resolution screens, the columns were either moved randomly around or texts shifted apart. This has now been fixed.
• The reports start list and entry list received an error message if a player's club name had a space. This has now been fixed.

• When copying a competition, courses will now be automatically updated.

Start List

• Editing the start list in a competition has been redesigned and now has the option to display 2 different extra columns, as well as the ability to filter the list of available players.

Fixed things

Entries

• When calculating same size classes, some reserves were included in the calculation. This has now been fixed.
• While editing an entry, in some cases, an error was obtained if no courses were added to the competition. This has now been fixed.

Start List

• In team match play, those teams that were not seeded were completely omitted from the start list. This has now been fixed.

• When resetting the cut in a multi class competition, the cut was not reset correctly for all. This has now been fixed.

• If no specific decision was made for equal results in an OOM, default should be the most results. However, that was not the case. This has now been fixed.

• If in a match play competition, starting holes, start times or match numbers were changed on matches, the players' tee was locked on that match. If changes were made in the tee setup later, it did not change the already created matches. This has now been fixed.
• In some cases, text related to player scoring were printed on scorecards even though this was not enabled in the competition. This has now been fixed.
• When setting up a start list with manual settings and sorting by position in a round, it caused an error if no round was selected. This has now been fixed.

Results

• On the scoreboard pages of the Mobile Scoring tool, an error occurred in round robin competitions if the score entry was not yet started or if not all players in each round were added to each match. This has now been fixed.

Slideshow

• When creating a slide with leaderboard, you could specify the number of positions to be shown from the leaderboard. One could for example set from 0 to 7, which would show positions 1 to 8. It has now been corrected to specify positions 1 to 8.

Results / Livescoring

• It is now possible to enable "Player Scoring" in stroke play competitions with start lists. This means that players can use their smartphones to enter scores during play in a competition.

This will make it possible for normal competitions to look like various tours with livescoring, where you can track scores instantly - but it will also ease the work of the competition administrator after the round, as scores have already been entered. Then, the administrator must "simply" compare the scores with the physical scorecard (which still must be handed out as this is the official scorecard), which will ease the score entry work for most competition administrators.

So far, the function has been developed for "stroke play" competitions, which makes up 98% of all competition in GolfBox. Additional formats are expected to be added in a later update.

• If a split position between 3 or more players was determined by various decisions, ex. the mathematical method, the various decisions were not written correctly on the leaderboard. This has now been fixed.

Livescoring

• On the info page in the live scoring, there was an error when displaying Order of Merit points if there were more than 20 places that should have points and at the same time there were points for more than one Order of Merit. This has now been fixed.
• Caching of data in the live scoring resulted in some caches being made for up to 3 times as long as intended. This has now been fixed.

Interclub module

• On confirmation of score reporting in Interclub using an iPad/iPhone, you could risk that the result could change so that the team on the left side wins all matches. This has now been fixed.

Setup

Create competition

- We have added a possibility to select a competition template. Right now the only one is called “blank”. We will add more later on.

Completely new layout on the setup page

- There’s a complete redesign of the setup page, making the work flow easier. Start from the top and word your way down. The different areas will open as they have been setup, making it easier to see how far you are in the process. We have also split the setup fields into 2 areas, one concerning the conditions in general and one for everything else.

Classes
- Changed the layout for classes, we currently show all the “options” available in the different classes.
- It is now possible to add a team class (for pro/ams, fourball, foursomes, etc). Team classes have additional settings. A team class may be combined with player classes as well.

Courses and Dates

- Added possibility to look up Belgium courses.

Rounds and Format
- Redesigned the formats setup to accommodate for team settings. We added Foursome, Greensome, Fourball, and Scramble formats for team tournaments.

Signing up
- Redesigned the fees setup. Now it’s possible to set the VAT on each fee. For team events we added the option to set a fee as a team fee and not a fee per player. You can also set a separate fee per class.
- For questions we also added possibility to set the VAT. For team events you can specify whether the question is for the team or for each player.
- For online entry we added an option to set whether the entry is open for team entrys or only individual player entries – or both.

- In team events with handicaps we now show the nett scores and in a stableford competition, we also show the stableford scores. For team scores, we will enter scores for the whole team together and once all players on a team have a score, we will update the team score.
