Change a player after the teetimes has been created.
Sometimes there is a need for a player to be replaced by another player after the tee-times has been created. In the matchplay module, this is a bit challenging, but here is a step for step guide to replacing a player in either round 1 or 2 (before scores has been entered.
Round 1.
If a player has withdrawn from round 1, and needs to be removed from the tee-times, follow this steps.
- Register the new player if not already registered
- Delete the withdrawn player from the registrationlist
- Go to the tee-times and choose insert player
- Choose the new player and insert him on the empty time.
- Move players around if the new players needs another place in the tee-time list.
Round 2.
If a player withdraws and he is seeded and automatically put into round to, it is a little more tricky. In the example below, I assume that the new player will NOT take the place of the seeded player, but will have to enter into round 1. Please follow the steps below to insert a new player when a seeded player withdraws from the tournament.
- First, identify the player which must take the seeded player position in round 2
- Move the new seeded player with the seeded player that has withdrawn.
- Now the withdrawn player is on a tee-time in round 1
- Register the new player, if not already registered.
- Delete the withdrawn player from the registrationlist
- Insert the new player on the empty tee-time in round 1.
Remember, score entering must not have started or the above will not be possible.
If you wish to withdraw or change status to a player after the teetimes has been published, you goto the scoring window and click the players name. This will bring up the option to DQ, WD or other status.
